Adoration

though pains lurk deep in my heart,
it won't stop me from adoring you.
though countless troubles twart me to and fro
yet they won't be enough to take your praise from me.

though I have so many unanswered requests
yet you retain your sovereign power in my life.
though all seems debilitated and dysfunctional
still my lips won't cease from your worship.

though my end seems nearer than i desired,
seems dreams no longer come to pass
and visions stayed as just imaginations
yet my heart
will rejoice in your salvation.
