I'm so thankful to have A mom like you, There is no other, Who could fill your shoes. I always took for granted, That you were there for me, And all the things you did, But now I see. You're such a good example, Of what a mom should be, We always get along so well, Even when we disagree. You're so patient, And understanding; You don't ask for anything, You're outstanding. You're so quick to give, And such a joy to be around, You're such a good person, You deserve a special crown. A meeting convened one day in Heavens sacred hall. The Ideal mother must be found for twins so sweet and small. She must be patient, first of all, And kind and calm and wise. And capable of chasing tears away from little eyes. She'd have to put her children first And be so very smart Have dedication and resolve, A sweet and loving heart. If I am  to appreciate the fruits of life, I must first appreciate the tree that bears the fruit: birth itself. Birth is my beginning. It is a window to the chance of a lifetime, the chance to fulfill my unique mission. So a birthday is a momentous occasion to be commemorated just as a nation commemorates its birth or as an organization celebrates its founding. Still, it is much more than an occasion to receive gifts. It is a chance to remember the day that a major event occurred, to celebrate and give thanks and to reflect upon how well I am fulfilling my calling. Because time itself is like a spiral, something special happens on our birthday each year: The same energy that God invested in us at birth is present once again.
